Job Description
Embark on a high-impact journey as a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Peds in Peterborough, New Hampshire. In this role you’ll be at the forefront of pediatric care, guiding young patients and their families through moments that matter most. You’ll translate clinical expertise into comfort, advocacy, and evidence-based practice, delivering compassionate care in a supportive, fast-paced environment. With every shift, you’ll build connections that nurture healing and resilience, while expanding your clinical horizons through exposure to a variety of pediatric settings and acuity levels. This assignment starts December 8, 2025, and offers a flexible duration tailored to your career goals.
Separately, the state’s natural beauty invites you to recharge between assignments: the White Mountains’ peaks, the tranquil lakes of the Lakes Region, and the charming, tree-lined towns that celebrate fall foliage and outdoor adventures. In Peterborough, you’ll enjoy a quintessential New England town with cultural events, farmers’ markets, and a welcoming community that makes every return home feel special.
Working in Peterborough offers the best of both worlds: a close-knit community feel with easy access to major medical networks, and the flexibility to explore other locations across the U.S. through supplemental assignments. You’ll experience a high standard of pediatric care, access to state-of-the-art facilities, and opportunities for cross-team collaboration that sharpen your assessment, care planning, and family education skills. The role also opens doors to seasonal or longer-term opportunities in different pediatric subspecialties, allowing you to broaden your resume while maintaining balance with your personal life. Expect competitive compensation and a supportive framework designed to help you thrive as you pursue specialty mastery and broader professional visibility.
Role specifics and benefits include direct pediatric patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings, including admissions, rounds, and coordinated care for acutely ill children when needed. You’ll administer medications, manage IV therapies, perform wound care, optimize pain management, and work through discharge planning with families. You’ll conduct comprehensive pediatric assessments, monitor vitals, interpret labs, identify early clinical changes, and escalate promptly to the care team. You’ll educate families to reinforce care plans at home, coordinate with physicians, social work, and school personnel to support holistic well-being, and participate in quality improvement initiatives that elevate patient outcomes. You’ll have opportunities to grow within pediatrics through mentorship, potential clinical leadership, and even precepting responsibilities for new hires or students. In addition to this growth path, the compensation package includes a weekly pay between $2,308 and $2,346, plus a signing bonus and housing assistance, with extension opportunities based on performance and local demand. Note that guaranteed hours are not set at 40 per week; this assignment offers flexible scheduling with potential extensions to fit your goals. You’ll also benefit from 24/7 support from our traveling team, ensuring you have around-the-clock assistance, onboarding clarity, and rapid problem resolution as you travel to assignments across the country.
Company values: Our network is built on empowering nurses, fostering autonomy within a collaborative team framework, and investing in ongoing career advancement. You’ll find a culture of mentorship, rigorous standards, continuous training, and a genuine commitment to your well-being and professional growth. By choosing this path, you join a supportive environment where your clinical voice matters, your aspirations are encouraged, and your dedication helps shape compassionate pediatric care for families nationwide.
Ready to make a difference in pediatric care while exploring new places? Apply now to join a compassionate, growth-oriented team that values your expertise and commitment. Begin December 8, 2025, with the opportunity to tailor your duration and locations as you grow your pediatrics skill set.
Note: The hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
