Your Role

As a Water Treatment Plant Operator, you’ll ensure the reliable delivery of clean, safe water to critical facilities such as hospitals and commercial properties by operating and maintaining advanced water treatment systems. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Operating systems like Chemical Dosing, Ion Exchange Filtration, Ultraviolet Disinfection, and Reverse Osmosis.
• Adjusting process controls and chemical dosing to maintain optimal system performance.
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Documenting operations accurately and ensuring compliance with Maryland regulatory standards.
• Working closely with teammates to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a driven, technically proficient individual who thrives in dynamic, field-based settings. Required qualifications include:

• Mandatory Certification : Active Class T2 or T4 Water Treatment Operator Certification from the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE), essential for regulatory compliance and operational expertise.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and technologies.
• Experience with chemical injection and ion exchange systems (preferred).
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
