Vintage Clothing Sales Specialist Location Wilmington, NC :

Are you looking for an employer who values your creativity and independence? We are a true vintage clothing store looking for an experienced Sales Person to provide excellent customer service and SELL BEAUTIFUL CLOTHING! Our inventory is unique and requires a special level of knowledge and enthusiasm to match customers with just the thing to take home. We provide tons of on the job training, and are looking for someone interested in vintage clothing + retail sales who wants to learn MORE!

Job Responsibilities

  • Comfortably converse with a diverse range of customers.
  • Identify customer needs and make suggestions to facilitate purchases.
  • Answer customer questions about vintage clothing in general, our inventory in particular.
  • Cross and up sell complimentary pieces.
  • Cash register, POS, and cash handling.
  • Manage returns and online purchases.
  • Create content for social media and online store.
  • Tag and stock inventory arrivals.
  • Handle customer problems and complaints.
  • Hit daily sales goals.
  • Keyholder position; open and close store.

Required Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Clothing Sales Associate, Retail Sales Associate or similar role.
  • Familiarity with suggestive sales principles.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Good math and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and receptive to critical feedback.
  • Comfortable working independently and alone.
  • Ability to perform well in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends required.
  • High school degree.
  • Experience or knowledge of vintage clothing is a plus.
  • Dress code requirement: our work look is elevated true vintage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
