Job Description

We’re searching for a hardworking and personable pool maintenance technician committed to providing our customers with an exceptional experience. Our pool technicians perform a variety of tasks, such as maintaining, cleaning, and treating pools for a variety of customers. You should be comfortable talking with customers and answering any maintenance questions they have. Ideal candidates have experience with pool equipment repairs and preventative maintenance. • Use certified pool equipment to clean swimming pools and water filters
• Educate customers with tips on how to maintain their pool
• Review results of water’s pH levels and add or maintain chemicals if necessary
• Maintain record of paperwork and services performed
• Skim debris from the water's surface, brush the sides and bottom of the pool, and vacuum dirt and debris from the pool floor
• Check and balance chemicals in the pool to maintain proper pH levels
• Inspect pool equipment, such as pumps and filters, and report any issues to the supervisor
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backwashing filters and cleaning skimmer baskets

Qualifications:

• Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience with pool chemicals, maintenance techniques and equipment, is strongly preferred
• Candidate must be comfortable working in harsh weather conditions
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment and dexterity
