We’re currently looking for a Senior Game Designer to join our design team in Renton, WA to work on our iconic Duel Masters series, which has entertained fans in Japan for over 20 years. In this role, you’ll support the development and testing for all upcoming Duel Masters sets. What You'll Do: Analyze and optimize initial design concepts to deliver final game designs for all Duel Masters products. Coordinate final design feedback and processes with Duel Masters Game Design Managers in the US and Japan offices. Provide final decisions (with Final Design Lead) for all Duel Masters card game rules and ensure alignment across the team. Facilitate and coordinate internal playtests for initial and final game designers. Research, track, and maintain awareness of Duel Masters play styles, formats, and play environments. Regularly communicate information to the R&D team in the US office. Actively contribute to team meetings and discussions, providing exceptionally constructive, reasoned, and creative input that will craft the future of Duel Masters. What You’ll Bring: Proficient trading card game experience and knowledge, with competitive play competency. A passionate, self-motivated, and curious approach, with a strong drive to explore novel ideas and solutions. A collaborative mindset that’s willing to try new things. Preferred Skills: Demonstrated experience in card game development. Fluency in Japanese language is a plus, but not required. The base salary range for this position is $108,200.00 to $162,300.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
