Maintains the safety and security of the facility. Secures the premises from unauthorized entry. Provides support and assistance to staff, patients and visitors. Prepares and submits reports in an accurate and timely manner. Performs general duties in the protection of persons, property, and enforcement of all applicable policies, rules and regulations of Manatee Health, Federal, State, and Local Laws.Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Class D License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification required
• Good communication and writing skills
• Must be able to vary work schedule and work effectively in stressful situations
• Required physical stamina for prolonged walking, sitting, standing and ability to assume awkward positions such as bending, twisting and stooping
• Good vision, hearing, speech and manual dexterity for utilization of computer and other work related tools.
