Seeking a licensed School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students across elementary and high school settings within a public school district. This role involves both direct and indirect therapy services, with the majority of time spent at the elementary level.
School Assignments & CaseloadElementary School (Pre-K–5th Grade):
Approximately 40 students
Primarily direct therapy services
Onboarding and ongoing support available from a district Occupational Therapist
High School:
Approximately 10 students
Primarily indirect services , including consultation and collaboration with staff
Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
Deliver direct intervention services and indirect consultation as assigned
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Support students in developing functional, academic, and self-regulation skills
Active Occupational Therapist license (state-appropriate)
School Special Services Provider (SSP) credential issued by the state Department of Education — MUST be in hand
Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently within a school environment
Position is primarily based at an elementary school , with limited time supporting a high school caseload
Support and guidance available during onboarding to ensure continuity of care
