Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major mechanical replacement project. In this role, you will independently manage the planning, execution, and completion of large pump and motor replacement projects. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience with large pump and motor replacements, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive high-profile projects while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of large mechanical replacement projects.

• Provide oversight for project teams, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and senior management to maintain project alignment and progress.

• Develop and manage project budgets, track costs, and manage resources effectively.

• Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to stakeholders and leadership.

• Maintain project schedules, manage risks, and ensure accountability across the project team.

• Mentor and guide team members as needed to support project success.

Required Education and Experience

• Project Management Certification (PMP) or related credentials is a plus.

• Construction Management Certification is a plus.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience leading large pump and motor replacement projects.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to be assertive yet courteous.

• Ability to work extended schedules during outage period.

• Nuclear experience is highly desired but not required.

• Hands-on experience and demonstrated results are prioritized over formal education.

• Proficient with standard project management and office software tools.
