Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and professional Phlebotomist to join a patient-focused team in Austin, TX. This position involves providing exceptional customer service, performing high-quality specimen collections, and supporting accurate laboratory processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups.
  

• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity testing, and alcohol testing.
  

• Accurately enter patient and billing information.
  

• Prepare and process specimens for analysis.
  

• Maintain patient and specimen logs with strict attention to detail.
  

• Provide an outstanding patient experience in every interaction.
  

• Support administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
  

• Travel to additional collection sites as required.
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  

• Previous experience as a phlebotomist (1+ year preferred).
  

• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred.
  

• Experience working with patients from pediatric to geriatric populations.
  

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  

• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
  

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  

• MediClear or equivalent HIPAA credential required.
