Blair Therapies is excited to announce an immediate opening for an Occupational Therapist to join two of our departments: our School Department for a school in Altoona, PA and our Clinic Department with our Pediatric Therapy Center in Altoona, PA. We are a therapist-owned practice with over 40 dedicated professionals serving children and families across our Early Intervention, Pediatric Therapy Center, and School-Based departments.

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist will support children in developing functional skills to enhance their daily living, play, and learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment to children
• Implement individualized therapy plans focused on developmental, motor, sensory, and self-care skills.
• Collaborate with OTs, other therapists, educators, and families to support each child’s goals.
• Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with state and company guidelines.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging therapy environment.
• Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to provide education, strategies, and progress updates.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure as an OTR.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered care.
