A respected healthcare system in El Paso is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join its dynamic perioperative team. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in fast-paced surgical settings and is committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care throughout the surgical continuum.
Job Summary
The OR RN provides perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures. This includes assessing patients, preparing the OR, acting as a circulating nurse, maintaining sterile technique, monitoring patient safety, and ensuring smooth postoperative transitions.
Qualifications
Active RN license (state of practice)
BSN preferred (may be required by some facilities)
1+ year of hospital nursing experience; OR experience preferred
BLS required; ACLS recommended/required based on facility
CNOR preferred (or willingness to obtain)
