**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Network Security Engineer** in **South Burlington, VT or Camp Springs, MD** . This position will be **fully remote.** **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Support the following technologies with expert knowledge: BGP, DMVPN, EIGRP, MPLS, VRF, QoS, PBR, VSS, HSRP, STP, Cisco Meraki stack, WAN Optimization technologies, and Cisco Nexus. + Transport-layer engineers to validate a customized, metered approach to modernize and enhance functionalities such as IPv6, SIP, and H.323, as well as other industry best practices. + Possess the knowledge and technical understanding to maintain and improve existing protocols such as QoS, Metro-Ethernet, and SONET technologies for CONUS and OCONUS locations. Experience with initiatives such as the Dynamic Multipoint VPN (DMVPN), Layer 2 Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), cloud hosted Equinix sites. + Work with vendors such as Cisco, Infoblox, and Palo Alto. Support high availability LAN/WAN planning. Automate advanced routing capabilities, WAN path control remediation solutions, and customized price-to-performance cost-savings data. + Investigate the USCIS WAN and develop new solutions, specifically taking advantage of new technologies that embrace software defined networks, to include policy-based routing. + Design and engineer IPv6 implementation and support strategy. Strategy shall include migration of all devices, sites, and applications. Design and Architect a new Private IP WAN solution. + Establish an efficient and effective repeatable methodology for architecture and engineering solutions from concept to delivery of operations. Responsible for architecting, engineering, and maintaining cloud direct connects and third-party interconnects where needed. Provide recommendations for new products and technology for supporting all layers of the IT infrastructure architecture. **Minimum Qualifications:** + 5 + years of experience. + Experience designing, engineering and designing solutions with a security mindset + Experience with major cloud providers AWS, Google or Azure. + Proven experience with managing and using Dev Ops concepts. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field. + One or more relevant industry certifications such as CCIE/CCNP. + Familiar with tools including: ServiceNow, GitHub, Jira, Confluence. + Experience with ITIL, DevSecOps and Agile concepts. + Experience supporting Government contracts. **Clearance Requirements:** + Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability Clearance prior to starting this position. **Physical Requirements:** + Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.
