WORK OPTION: The NBA currently provides eligible employees the option of working remotely one day per week.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for forecasting, pricing and entering media buys under the NBA Media sales portfolio. The position will work closely across the Global Partnerships team, Product team and a myriad of internal departments across the NBA.

Major Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sales, Account Managers, Inventory, and Marketing teams to generate compelling custom ad programs across our product/site portfolios
• Pull and forecast avails, recommend ad placements, and content channels based on client campaign objectives
• Support dedicated books of business, managing the sales process from proposal generation to order entry and revenue reporting 
• Partner with Sales teams to implement packaging and pricing strategies, as defined by Strategic Planning rate cards and guidelines
• Work closely with the Ad Ops team to execute campaigns and maximize delivery against contracted goals
• Assist in the preparation and follow-up for client meetings, as directed by Sellers, including reviewing industry and account-specific information
• Identify areas for improvement within the pre-sale process and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency

Required Education/Professional Experience/Knowledge Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 2 years experience with focus on sales strategy across linear and digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of the media sales environment with a focus on alternative ad models and multi-platform packaging.
• Proficiency in media planning platforms (e.g., Operative, FreeWheel, GAM)
• Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
• Understanding of audience metrics, media math, and forecasting techniques
• Excellent communication, organization, and client-facing skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,0000
