IT Systems Administrator Rubrik (Palo Alto, CA, Full Time/Contract)
Job Summary
Rubrik is seeking a motivated IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. This position reports directly to the Director of Global IT and plays an essential role in maintaining and supporting the performance, security, and stability of our global infrastructure. You will provide expert technical support, work closely with cross-functional teams on business-critical projects, and help drive continuous process improvements. This is a unique opportunity to expand your skills across a diverse technology stack while supporting Rubrik s mission-critical operations.

Your advanced troubleshooting skills and proactive support will ensure seamless operations for end-users, including senior leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an escalation point for the global Service Desk Team, delivering advanced technical support for enterprise applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Jamf, InTune, Okta, Zoom, Slack).
- Coordinate system recovery efforts and communicate with impacted teams to ensure minimal business disruption.
- Collaborate with senior system administrators and IT colleagues on business-critical projects and initiatives.
- Partner with the Identity and Access Management team to maintain FedRAMP system compliance and business continuity.
- Provide premium, proactive support to Rubrik s senior leadership and executive staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of hardware and software assets in partnership with the Service Desk Team.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance IT support operations and reduce incidents.
- Create and update knowledge base articles for complex or undocumented technical issues.
