$5,000 Sign-On Bonus

You will receive a total sign-on bonus of $5,000, paid in two installments. The first installment of $2,500 will be issued during the pay period following your 60th day of employment. The second installment of $2,500 will be issued during the pay period following your six-month employment anniversary.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Commercial Estimator to join our team in North Charleston, SC. As an HVAC Commercial Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our projects by providing accurate cost estimates for HVAC systems in commercial buildings. As a Level 1 Commercial Estimator, you will provide support to our Lead Estimator and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC installations and repairs in commercial settings.
• Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to develop accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather relevant data.
• Maintain a database of costs for materials, labor, and equipment to ensure competitive pricing.
• Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation processes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Procore experience is a plus.
• Relevant certifications or degrees in HVAC technology, engineering, or a related field are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
