Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and hardworking
General Laborer to join our grounds maintenance team in
Flovilla, GA . The General Laborer will report directly to the Grounds Superintendent and assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the campground. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Responsibilities: - Assist the Grounds Superintendent in daily maintenance tasks, including but not limited to landscaping, lawn care, and general upkeep of the campground.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of facilities, structures, and equipment.
- Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment and decorations for events and activities.
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and free of debris, including walkways, parking lots, and common areas.
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete assigned tasks.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the Grounds Superintendent.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies and communicate any needs for replenishment.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in general labor or groundskeeping preferred.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and maintenance techniques.
- Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
