The Role: Fitness Center Supervisor

The Fitness Center Supervisor works closely with the Fitness Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional Member service. This position blends hands-on service with front-line leadership , supporting staff and engaging directly with Members in a welcoming and professional manner.

What You'll Do

• Lead by example on the fitness floor, creating a friendly, service-first environment

• Assist in managing daily operations, staffing, and front desk responsibilities

• Support the Fitness Manager with scheduling, payroll, and interviewing when needed

• Help develop fitness programming including classes, training, and wellness workshops

• Maintain inventory, vendor coordination, and cleanliness standards

• Ensure Members and guests are welcomed, checked in, and cared for with personal attention

• Serve as the point of contact in the Manager's absence, attending meetings and resolving issues as needed

• Keep the Fitness Center clean, organized, and safe for all users

• Assist with promotions and activities to keep Members engaged and inspired

Who You Are

• A strong communicator with a professional, positive attitude

• Dependable, team-oriented, and eager to learn

• Experienced in high-end hospitality, customer service, or fitness (private club experience a plus)

• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• A natural leader who thrives on problem-solving and creating memorable experiences
