Description We are looking for a motivated Entry Level Accountant to join a dynamic manufacturing company in Auburn, Maine. This role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their accounting skills while contributing to a fast-paced and growing organization. Responsibilities: - Handle full-cycle accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Assist with recurring journal entries to support month-end and year-end accounting activities. - Participate in various accounting projects, contributing to their successful completion. - Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate financial records and reporting. - Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable transactions to ensure proper documentation. - Provide support in analyzing financial data to identify discrepancies or trends. - Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records. - Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve accounting-related inquiries. - Assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits or compliance reviews. - Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes and workflows. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work setting. - Prior experience in accounts receivable or similar accounting functions is a plus.
