We are looking for a Director of Finance and Accounting. This role will work to maintain strong and rigorous internal financial management, and to support effective management and oversight of our growing portfolio of project grants. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will partner with executives and senior managers in strategic decision-making and financial management. You will manage RI’s accounting and bookkeeping, financial planning and analysis, strategic planning and budgeting, internal controls infrastructure, audits, tax filings, and regulatory filing. And you will partner with RI program staff to ensure effective oversight and management of project budgets. You will be able to do so in a "hybrid" work environment with 2-3 days of in-office work per week and flexibility about regular remote work.

In addition, you have demonstrated experience in non-profit accounting and financial planning and analysis, reporting, and building and managing a small team. You are detail oriented, adept at multi-tasking and successful at managing against deadlines, an excellent collaborator, a creative thinker, approach challenges as opportunities with solutions, and are committed to the mission of the organization.
SALARY RANGE: $135,000-$150,000 per year depending on experience
