Position Overview

The Bartender is the face of the bar, responsible for crafting drinks, engaging with guests, and delivering excellent service. This role requires attention to detail, a strong knowledge of beverages, and the ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Greet guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations with enthusiasm and knowledge.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies.
• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with all laws.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Collaborate with servers and barbacks to ensure smooth service flow.
• Engage with guests to create a fun, welcoming environment that encourages return visits.

Qualifications

• Prior bartending or mixology experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy, social atmosphere.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol. 
• Must have Food Handlers and TABC or ability to obtain one prior to start date.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
