**Description:** You will be a Analytics / Machine Learning Engineer in our Software Engineering organization\. MFC also offers a wide range of products and services for the global civil nuclear power industry and the military's green power initiatives\. **What You Will Be Doing** As a Analytics / Machine Learning Engineer, your responsibilities will include: \- Leverage advanced analytics, web development, data engineering, and machine learning to drive data\-driven decision\-making across MFC engineering and production \- Apply advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data from engineering development and production sources \- Develop, implement, and advocate for AI\-powered solutions Key responsibilities will include: - Collaborate with researchers and engineers to identify opportunities for AI/ML applications and develop proof\-of\-concepts - Establish rigorous standards for ML Ops strategies for various programs and applications - Maintain AI/ML systems, including data pipelines, model training, optimization, and deployment - Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML, including new algorithms, techniques, and tools - Collaborate with external partners, including academia and industry, to advance ML Ops research and applications **Why Join Us** Do you want to be part of a company culture that encourages employees to build their career, leverage their knowledge while using cutting edge technology, and achieve challenging goals? The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\. **Basic Qualifications:** - Master's or Ph\.D\. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field - 3\+ years of experience in AI/ML research and deployment, with a strong background in ML Ops - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C\+\+ - Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit\-learn - Software development skills, with experience in version control systems - Ability to obtain an interim secret security clearance prior to start and therefore must be US Citizen\. **Desired Skills:** - Experience with ML pipeline packages such as Flyte, Kubeflow pipelines, and MLFlow - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment - Experience with data storage libraries such as Feathr and LakeFS - Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes - Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques\. - Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems - Experience in deployment of AI and statistical algorithm systems on high performance compute infrastructure - Experience with AI/ML ethics, fairness, and transparency **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
