Administrative Assistant - Part-Time Position Supporting Maine Courts
Pay: $22 per hour
Schedule: Mon-Fri Days
Assignment Length: Long-Term Temporary
We're hiring an Administrative Assistant for a long-term temporary position in Portland, Maine . This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to support Maine's court systems by coordinating interpreters and managing essential communication access functions. This position pays $22 per hour and is long-term temporary .

Typical daily duties:
Work with the Communication Access Specialist to schedule interpreters for court events
Correspond with interpreters and court personnel as needed
Process, review, and escalate interpreter invoices when appropriate
Respond to interpreter payment inquiries
Assist with scheduling, travel coordination, and invoice tracking
Support special projects related to interpreter services as time allows
What we're looking for:
High School Diploma or GED required; 2+ years of administrative assistant or legal/paralegal experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style
Strong proofreading, accuracy, and organizational skills
Professional communication and attention to detail
